Amazon Devices team owns product roadmap, business P&L, pricing, and all aspects of sales and marketing for Echo, Fire TV, and Kindle products in India. Program Manager for Supply and Ops is a critical role with an opportunity to shape the growth of Devices businesses in India.

We have launched over 20 products in the past 2 years, some of them best-selling in their segments and all loved by our customers (4+ star reviews). To bring these devices to the customers, we partner with a wide cross-section of teams – both local and global – including Amazon.in marketplace, seller and distributor partners, content and app partners, and other product categories for bundles. We influence product and feature roadmaps to deliver India-relevant experiences, and are directly responsible for all launches, supply/instock planning for our seller partners, and defining and executing annual and long term plans with the single objective to delight increasingly more customers with Echo, Fire TV and Kindle experience.

As Program Manager in the Operations team, candidate will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to develop, support and maintain processes for day-to-day operations of supply chain of Amazon Devices in IN. You will drive cross-functional projects to improve efficiency of the devices planning & distribution through process development and software tools automation. The successful candidate will have strong program or project management skills, experience working with external partners, excellent verbal and written communications skills, the ability to adapt to new scenarios, and proven track-record of delivering high quality results.

To do this, this person needs to have hands on program management skills, passion for supply chain and inventory management, excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to influence decisions without authority, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and curiosity to keep learning as we venture into new use cases and products.

The position is based in Amazon’s India office located in Bangalore.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will

• Review and drive forecasting accuracy for our products

• Ensure instock, distribution & plan fulfillment

• Deliver Network NVA reduction by driving projects for speed to customer & efficiency

• Deliver results on moderately-complex medium to large scale projects involving teams across the company

• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements

• Understand current system capabilities and limitations

• Problem solve and explore solutions to current processes and systems

• Coordinate with cross functional teams to implementation

• Drive continuous improvement and closed-loop corrective actions

• Monitor supply and fulfillment of devices in online and offline channels

About the team
Amazon Devices team owns product roadmap, business P&L, pricing, and all aspects of sales and marketing for Echo, Fire TV, and Kindle products in India. Echo is India’s best selling smart speaker and customers love interacting with Alexa to stream music, control their smart homes, and get news and information. With FireTV, customers can stream their favorite movies, shows and music from all popular services directly to their TV and home theaters. Iconic Kindle devices are designed for a delightful reading experience and our book lovers can choose from Amazon’s selection of more than a million books in Kindle library.


• Bachelor’s degree: Engineering / Finance / Business administration / related fields.
• Excel at dealing with ambiguity and influencing without authority.
• Ability to operate with autonomy at all levels and comfortable with working across cross-functional teams in different time zones spread across India, Europe, US.
• 3+ years of experience in delivering cross functional projects in the supply chain domain.


• Master’s degree / MBA
• Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
• Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex tech systems & WMS
• Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
